Event:The 10th National Youth Science Popularization Innovation Experiment and Works Competition
The 10th National Youth Science Popularization Innovation Experiment and Works Competition, organized by the China Association for Science and Technology and jointly hosted by the China Science and Technology Museum and the China Association for Science and Technology Youth Science Center, concluded in Nanning, Guangxi, with support from the China Science and Technology Development Foundation.
This year’s competition focused on three main themes: “Smart, Safe, and Eco-friendly.” It emphasized the research application and popularization of cutting-edge scientific technologies and public health, assessing teenagers’ abilities to identify and solve problems through hands-on practice. The competition featured two categories: creative works and science experiments. The creative works category was divided into “Human-Machine Collaboration” for the university group and “Future Campus” for the secondary school group, while the science experiment category for the secondary school group was centered around the theme “Future Space Vehicle.”
We are proud to announce that Chan ChunYiu from Class 5A and Wong ChunTai from Class 2C were selected to represent Hong Kong in the “Future Space Vehicle” competition. Competing alongside outstanding students from across the nation, they ultimately won third prize. This experience not only allowed them to learn the latest technological knowledge but also enhanced their teamwork skills. Through interactions with other talented participants, they sparked innovative thinking and enjoyed the hands-on experience, further developing their problem-solving abilities.
