This was the first time for Chitose Tourism Bureau to co-operate with Hong Kong school after the pandemic, which allowed us to live in local hostel, a full-day interaction and communication with local people and even had a terrific homestay experience. Not only had we made remarkable communion with the Chitose High School students, but also been interviewed by the local press. These extraordinary schedules had composed to a precious experience for our students to remember.
Moreover, our students had also visited the Shikisai-no-Oka Flower Park, witnessing the boundless lawn flooded with full colour spectrum of flowers; viewing a sea of uncountable lavender in Farm Tomita; picking haskapp in Atsuma-chō; in commune with the nature in Asahiyama Zoological Park, Northern Horse Park as well as Sapporo Ecorin Village. Every sight caught in the students’ eyes, every sound heard in the students’ ears had broaden their vision from a narrow tunnel to a more global and knowledgeable scope.
