Four students from our school’s Class 2A – Zhou Kejun, Li Hiu Lam, Wong Cheuk Wai, and Lam Chun Hin Rex – participated in the “2023-2024 National Youth Aerospace Innovation Competition” organized by the China Aerospace Science and Technology International Exchange Center.
The 2023-2024 National Youth Aerospace Innovation Competition is an important scientific and technological competition for Chinese youth. The competition aims to inspire young people’s interest in the field of aerospace, cultivate innovative thinking and practical skills, and nurture reserve talents for the national aerospace industry.
During the competition, participants need to apply aerospace-related knowledge, combined with innovative thinking, to complete various challenging tasks. For example, designing and building rocket models capable of precisely delivering payloads, or creating science fiction artwork depicting future space living scenarios.
This competition not only provides a platform for young people to showcase their talents but also builds a bridge for mutual exchange and learning. Through participation in the competition, students can enhance their understanding of aerospace technology, cultivate scientific spirit and innovative awareness, and lay the foundation for potentially pursuing careers in the aerospace industry in the future.
Zhou Kejun, Li Hiu Lam from our school’s Class 2A performed exceptionally well in the Space Station Scientific Experiment (Test) Proposal and Experimental (Test) Device Design Competition, winning the first prize. Wong Cheuk Wai, and Lam Chun Hin Rex also demonstrated outstanding performance in this competition, earning the second prize.
