The “Ocean Park Conservation Alliance 2024 Awards Ceremony” and “Ocean Park Conservation Carnival” organized by The Ocean Park has concluded successfully. The event aimed to review and commend the conservation work of the Seahorse Rangers during the 2023-2024 academic year. The event also featured 20 booths with games related to environmental conservation and low-carbon living.

Our school had 30 students participating in the Seahorse Rangers and was honored to receive the “Ocean Park Conservation Alliance Best School – Outstanding Innovation and Technology Award” on the day. This award recognizes the school’s excellent efforts and innovative contributions in conservation work. In terms of conservation efforts, our students demonstrated various innovations and active involvement. We set up game booths to promote low-carbon living for the flagship activity ” Low Carbon PLS” Day!” of the Seahorse Rangers. During the school’s deep learning week, we promoted hydroponics technology. Additionally, they established the Animal keeper – Turtle Team to take care of the school’s reptiles. Moreover, the school applied IoT technology to set up a remote laboratory, “Turtle Home,” to help users care for and monitor the growth conditions of turtles.
Through this experience, students deeply understood the significance of conservation work and their social responsibilities. Furthermore, by organizing and participating in activities, students significantly enhanced their leadership skills and self-confidence, promoting their holistic development. Our Seahorse 」Rangers members will continue to uphold the belief in promoting conservation work, commit to advocating the importance of environmental conservation to the community, and actively participate in and organize more related activities.
