Eleven F3 students from our school visited the LU Jockey Club Gerontech-X Lab. They participated in the gerontechnology experience event organized by the charitable organization Seed Foundation. The students had the opportunity to have hands-on experiences with various gerontechnology products in the laboratory, learning how to apply STEM to different aspects of life, including healthcare, dining, living, and transport, activities, and learning. This experience aimed to stimulate their imagination and foster their innovative spirit, inspiring them for future science and technology activities.
The highlight of this event was the direct communication and interaction between the students and the seniors. The seniors were energetic, full of vitality, and actively embraced new technologies. Their passion for lifelong learning greatly motivated and encouraged the students to persistently pursue their own learning journeys.
